Govela
The concept of Govela stems from my personal reservations as a young voter. I find it difficult to be involved in my government because I don’t fully understand it, and I’m not the only one. Many Americans are inactive in their government because staying up to date on essential information can be overwhelming and time consuming.
Govela aims to be a place for all citizens to learn about their government, check facts from news outlets and social media posts, and teach people complicated governmental processes in a way that they understand.
How do you encourage millions of people to learn?
Speak to them in their own language. Govela takes information from a variety of locations and compiles the best sources into simple statements. It makes learning complex ideas easy and interactive, and it encourages users to learn a broader spectrum of topics than just their initial interests.
